Obligatory arrangements between the responsible person and the processor

Under the GDPR, before personal data are processed by a third party, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) must be concluded between the controller and the third party (processor).

In practice, a GPI is also referred to as a contract processing agreement, Article 28 agreement, ADV agreement, etc.

This contract serves to precisely regulate the data protection rights and obligations between the contracting parties.
